Institutional gifts play an important role in helping La Jolla Music Society maintain its financial health and its commitment to high-quality educational opportunities for our students.
La Jolla Music Society receives government funding from four sources: Federal, State, City, and County. La Jolla Music Society’s international festival SummerFest is supported through the National Endowment for the Arts and the County of San Diego’s Community Enhancement Program. The California Arts Council has provided education support grants to La Jolla Music Society. Major funding of the general operations of La Jolla Music Society is provided in part by The City of San Diego Commission for Arts & Culture.
