SAN DIEGO SYMPHONY PRESENTS
BEETHOVEN: A PORTRAIT OF THE ARTIST AS A YOUNG MAN

January 14, 2020 · 7:30 PM
The Baker-Baum Concert Hall

The San Diego Symphony celebrates their January Festival with the works of a young Ludwig van Beethoven, whose innovations as a pianist and composer dazzled Viennese audiences. The Septet was the most popular of Beethoven’s work in his own lifetime, and in it we hear foreshadowing of the great symphonies he would later write.

This concert is part of the San Diego Symphony’s season-long celebration of Beethoven’s 250th birthday.

Thank you to Sam B. Ersan, Founding Sponsor of the Chamber Music Series.
