Leah Rosenthal currently serves as the Director of Artistic Planning & Education for La Jolla Music Society, where she manages the planning and execution of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary presenting season as well as the production of an annual chamber music festival, SummerFest, which was recently hailed by the Los Angeles Times as “arguably the best chamber festival in the country.” Before moving to California, Ms. Rosenthal was active in the Chicago arts scene, holding coveted positions with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, PBS, Ravinia Festival, Chicago International Film Festival, and NARAS (GRAMMYs). Ms. Rosenthal earned her master’s degree in Performing Arts Management at Columbia College of Chicago after completing undergraduate studies in Vocal Performance. Ms. Rosenthal proudly serves on the Board of Directors for California Presenters and as Chair of their Professional Development Committee. When she is not in her office, Ms. Rosenthal can be found on the tennis court or cheering for the Chicago Bears (and San Diego Chargers) with her husband Matt and her dog, Johann Sebastian Bark.
