GLENN EDGERTON, artistic director

SATURDAY, APRIL 18, 2020 · 8 PM
Spreckels Theatre

After 40 seasons, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago remains among the most original forces in contemporary dance with its deep commitment to presenting the leading choreographers of our time. This exciting program features the world’s premier choreographers, including two extraordinary works by Crystal Pite. Ohad Naharin’s Decadance/Chicago rounds out the program with an exploration of boundaries, sensual energy, and the explosive power of gesture through his Gaga movement language.

“Hubbard Street Dance Chicago ought to bottle itself as a cure for the ills of the era” – The New York Times

This event has been cancelled due to state and federal restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
