A student of legendary violinist, Jascha Heifetz, Jeanne Skrocki made her solo debut with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at age 14. Former teachers included Bonnie Bell and Manuel Compinsky. Ms. Skrocki is an Artist in Residence at the University of Redlands where she teaches violin and has responsibility for the strings chamber music program. She is also a member of the faculty at the Jascha Heifetz Symposium at Connecticut College each June. Ms. Skrocki is Concertmaster of the Redlands Symphony Orchestra, Assistant Concertmaster of the Pacific Symphony and she was Concertmaster of the Opera Pacific Orchestra for twelve years. She plays on a 1746 J.B. Guadagnini violin which belonged to her mother. Ms. Skrocki has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
