For La Jolla Music Society, a big season ahead, then a new home
While the La Jolla Music Society’s focus is toward the future in many ways, the institution has not neglected the present. Big names and production premieres are all in the upcoming season.
“It’s kind of this miraculous, nomadic season because we are in so many different concert venues,” said Kristin Lancino, the La Jolla Music Society’s president and artistic director. The 2017-18 season opens on a grand scale Wednesday with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra performing Schubert, Mozart and Schumann at Copley Symphony Hall.
